De hecho el Internet tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 ganando importancia para las personas mayores. Existe gran potencial, pero el dise\u00f1o de seguimiento de las nuevas versiones de las antiguas cadenas telef\u00f3nicas est\u00e1 claramente ausente. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 no idear una manera de jugar al bridge a distancia, por ejemplo?\u2026<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Lo anterior se escrib\u00eda hace unos a\u00f1os, pensando en como las telecomunicaciones pueden ser importantes para un sector creciente de la poblaci\u00f3n. Hoy es una realidad.<\/p>\n<p>En el a\u00f1o 2013 se encontr\u00f3 que las personas mayores as\u00ed como personas con discapacidad, interactuaban\u00a0\u00a0cada vez m\u00e1s en l\u00ednea. Ya que la disposici\u00f3n de los sitios de redes sociales para satisfacer su deseo de<strong> participaci\u00f3n<\/strong>\u00a0 junto con su disposici\u00f3n como usuarios para maximizar el potencial de las interfaces y la arquitectura de la plataforma, han dado paso a la integraci\u00f3n de los mayores en estas &#8220;nuevas tecnolog\u00edas&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed que de hecho las redes sociales en l\u00ednea tienen algo positivo para las personas mayores. De hecho, adem\u00e1s de esta participaci\u00f3n social, de acuerdo con un art\u00edculo publicado en el a\u00f1o 2014 <strong>la alfabetizaci\u00f3n digital puede ayudar a reducir el deterioro cognitivo entre las personas de entre 50 y 89 a\u00f1os.<\/strong> Los mayores de hoy que saben como usar un correo electr\u00f3nico, <a href=\"http:\/\/mayoresdehoy.com\/2014\/08\/05\/utilizando-skype-una-guia-para-los-mayores-de-hoy\/\">realizar llamadas por Skype<\/a> o utilizar el\u00a0 Facebook, What&#8217;s App o cualquier otra red social tienen ventaja en el aspecto cognitivo.<\/p>\n<p>Pueden existir cosas negativas en torno a las redes sociales, claro est\u00e1, pero hay que verle lo bueno al asunto&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Fuentes:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Baker, Paul M.A; Bricout John C.; Moon Nathan W.; Coughlan,Barry\u00a0 y Pater, Jessica (2013).
