Endeshaw, MD, MPH y<a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.google.com\/citations?view_op=search_authors&amp;mauthors=author:%22Yoo,+Wonsuk%22&amp;hl=es&amp;oi=ao\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Wonsuk Yoo<\/a>, PhD publicaron recientemente una investigaci\u00f3n enfocada en conocer si realmente las actividades sociales organizadas \u00a0y el ejercicio fisico eran de ayuda para disminuir los s\u00edntomas de insomnio entre personas mayores.<\/p>\n<p>Los investigadores concluyeron que s\u00ed, que el ejercicio y las actividades sociales ayudan a disminuir los s\u00edntomas de insomnio, \u00a0algo que ya era conocido, pero adem\u00e1s aportaron que existe una sinergia entre la actividad social y la actividad f\u00edsica, de manera textual dijeron:<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 10\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<blockquote><p>\u2026Social activity and physical exercise may have a synergistic effect in reducing the likelihood of developing insomnia symptoms; [\u2026] the effect of moderate- to high-intensity exercise on maintaining sleep quality may be stronger than low-intensity exercise (p.10).<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 10\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Furthermore, exposure to day light while performing these activities (if performed outdoors) and the regular schedule of these activities could act as time and social cues, respectively, and exert a favorable influence on the circadian timing system.(Challet &amp; Pevet, 2003; Mistlberger &amp; Skene, 2005) (p.10).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>En resumen, s\u00ed quieren prevenir y disminuir los s\u00edntomas de insomnio es importante realizar ejercicio de moderado a intenso, esto es que caminar un poco no va a ser de ayuda, quiza nadar o realizar caminatas vigorosas, algo que su m\u00e9dico les indique y que no sea perjudicial para su salud. Adem\u00e1s de la actividad f\u00edsica tener actividad social es importante, salir al cine, jugar juegos de mesa con la familia y los amigos. Una clase de yoga en grupo ser\u00eda excelente pues son las dos cosas al mismo tiempo.
