Amber Appleton\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0, en d\u00f3nde se habl\u00f3 de la nutrici\u00f3n en la vejez. Aqu\u00ed les colocamos un breve resumen del art\u00edculo acad\u00e9mico:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Los requerimientos de energ\u00eda se reducen gradualmente despu\u00e9s de los 50 a\u00f1os en las mujeres y despu\u00e9s de los 60 en los hombres, pero los requerimientos para las vitaminas y minerales permanecen sin cambios con la edad. A excepci\u00f3n del hierro.<\/p>\n<p>La deshidrataci\u00f3n es com\u00fan en la gente mayor, es importante bebe de 6 a 8 vasos de l\u00edquido al d\u00eda, sobre todo agua.<\/p>\n<p>La osteoporosis en las mujeres puede reducirse con la ingesta adecuada de calcio y vitamina D.
