Un estudio del a\u00f1o 2016, realizado en Noruega, report\u00f3 que las personas adultas mayores tienen mayor satisfacci\u00f3n al contactar a sus amigos que las personas j\u00f3venes. \u00a0Los investigadores dijeron:<\/p>\n

Encontramos que en todos los grupos de edad, los sentimientos de soledad dependen de la evaluaci\u00f3n de los v\u00ednculos sociales de uno, en lugar de un reflejo de la frecuencia del contacto social\u2026<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As\u00ed que la frecuencia con que se ve a los amigos no necesariamente se vincula a la sensaci\u00f3n de soledad, m\u00e1s bien la sensaci\u00f3n de soledad depende como evaluemos nuestros propios v\u00ednculos sociales.<\/p>\n

Nuestro estudio tambi\u00e9n muestra que las aspiraciones de contacto con amigos son de mayor importancia para la soledad que la frecuencia real de contacto y si uno tiene o no amigos de confianza en todos los grupos de edad\u2026<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As\u00ed que saberse con amigos es lo importante. Saber que se tienen redes de apoyo, eso es lo que nos hace felices, aunque no los veamos muy a menudo.<\/p>\n
